About Angela
Angela Kay Pirko is a DC-based director, actor, and writer who has worked in theatre and film in DC and New York. Angela is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, the 2014 Lincoln Center Theatre Directors Lab, the 2015-2016 SDCF Observership Class, and a two-time member of the Directors Studio at Shakespeare Theatre Company. She is the resident director and co-producer of Nu Sass Productions, and a co-producer of Shakespeare in the Pub.
She has a BA in Drama from the University of Virginia, and has been classically trained at the Conservatory at Shakespeare & Company and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. She has also been trained in acting and directing at the Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory.
